The invention relates to a mould board for a plough produced from a material having three layers laminated together, the outer layers (1a, 1b) are made of a steel with a high carbon content, whereas the central layer (1c) is made of a steel with a low carbon content and subjected to a thermal soak operation before it is mounted on the support (2) of a plough with the aid of bolts (5), characterised in that the said bolts (5) are welded into counterbores (spot faces) (11) formed in the outer face of the mould board (1) intended to be applied against the said support (2). The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such a mould board. <IMAGE>
