摘要 Process for the production by powder metallurgy of a composite material made up of a titanium-based metal matrix reinforced with ceramic particles representing at least 10 % of the volume of the composite material. According to the invention the ceramic particles are mixed uniformly with a powder of the matrix material and the mixture is formed and densified by spinning at a temperature of between 850 and 950 DEG C, the plastic deformation of the matrix powder during the spinning and the increase in surface resulting therefrom enabling all the reinforcing particles to come into direct contact with the matrix.
