Method for setting into action an energy-producing station operating on the Rankine cycle of the type comprising an evaporation element heated up in order to evaporate a driving fluid and produce an evaporated driving fluid, a turbo generator intended for the driving fluid thus evaporated in order to provide energy and produce a depleted hot driving fluid, a condenser intended for the said depleted driving fluid for condensing it and producing a condensate, and means for returning the said condensate to the evaporator, the said method comprising the following steps: a) providing a liquid having several fractions; b) extracting, by distillation, at least one fraction of the said liquid in order to produce a distilled fluid, and c) supplying the energy station with the said distilled fluid, as driving fluid. <IMAGE>
