PURPOSE:To allow a toner to have sufficient offset resistance and low- temperature fixing property and also prevent the toner from being wound onto a fixing roller by putting fine particles of a thermosetting resin in the toner. CONSTITUTION:Fine particles of a thermosetting resin are contained in a toner composed mainly of a polyester resin and a colorant. An epoxy resin or melamine resin is especially preferable as the thermosetting resin the fine particles of which are blended in the toner. In this case, bisphenol A type is preferable as the epoxy resin and the equivalent of the epoxy is preferably 450 to 3,000. As the melamine resin, one obtained when a mixture formed by condensation of melamine and formaldehyde is etherified or the melaine resin is deformed by paratoluenesulfone amid, etc. is preferable. Sufficient offset resistance and winding resistance of the toner can thus be obtained. |
