The present invention relates to a device allowing adaptation of mass-manufactured (industrialised) prefabricated shells made of sheet metal for chimney stacks. Traditional flashing (flanking) was produced by means of products of the "calendrite" iron or cement types, made unitarily and on the roofs. The device according to the invention avoids the drawback of mounting onto roofs, with sealing materials, or making random connections and of fitting this flashing to the flue. <IMAGE>
