<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a pointing device without losing the longitudinal direction of a data area as far as possible by providing this menu display system with a means for rotating a menu bar for displaying a pull down menu. CONSTITUTION:An echo rotation box 300 is provided in a menu bar formed on the upper part of a window 100. When the box 300 is pointed out by a pointing such as a mouse and dragged to the lower left of the window 100 while depressing a button, the bar 200 and the box 300 are rotated to the left part of the window 100 around the left end of the menu bar. Since a pull down menu can be displayed in the transverse direction without narrowing the longitudinal display area of longitudinal data, transverse movement with high operability can be mainly operated.</p> |
