The invention relates to a device for adjusting the friction with fluid movement, particularly for platforms for supporting camera equipment. This device comprises a main body part (9) traversed by a bore (13), one of the ends of which opens out on a planar circular face (15) perpendicular to the said bore, and the other end of which is closed by a friction washer (41) applied to its edge part, and a moving component (11) including a disc-shaped head (17) which substantially complements the said planar circular face of the main body part, and a cylindrical body (21) which, to within the clearance, complements the said bore, this moving component being mounted with freedom of axial rotation on the main body part, an intermediate seal (35) covered with lubricating grease being applied against the head of the moving part and the said planar circular face, the said head being applied with adjustable pressure against the said planar face opposite by a connection means (37, 39) secured to the moving component and applied against the said friction washer of the bore of the main body part. <IMAGE> |
