PURPOSE:To obtain a fibrous structure with blur-toned pattern by imparting a fibrous structure comprising cellulose- and/or protein-based fibers with a reactive dye-contg. dyeing solution, followed by patternedly applying a treating solution containing a carboxylic acid, etc., and then fixation of the dye. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous structure comprising cellulose-and/or protein-based fibers is imparted with a reactive dye-contg. dyeing solution followed by patternedly applying a treating solution containing a carboxylic acid and/or its derivative and then fixation of the dye using a conventional technique, thus obtaining a fibrous structure with blur-toned pattern at low cost. In the areas imparted with the carboxylic acid (derivative), an alkali for fixing the reactive dye is neutralized, resulting in virtually no color development. |
