CONVERSION ERROR COMPENSATION CIRCUIT AND METHOD FOR ANALOGUE TO DIGITAL CONVERTER

The circuit compensates the conversion error of analog to digital (A/D) converter at every power on and operation mode changes. The circuit includes a controller (20) for generating a first and a second control signals when power is on and modes are changed, a switch (10) connected between analog input terminal and the A/D converter for switching analog input, an error storing register (40) for storing the conversion error generated by the A/D converter by the second control signal, and a compensator (50) for subtracting stored conversion error from output of the A/D converter.
