1,219,775. Chucks and sockets. ERIKSBERGS MEK. VERKSTADS A.B. 15 Nov., 1968 [29 Nov., 1967], No. 54319/68. Heading B3B. The tapered cone end 3 of a tool comprises a bevelled top end 6 and a disc spring 10 held to the cone end by a bolt 9. The angle α of the bevelled top end 6 is greater than the angle # of the disc spring to allow the disc spring to be pressed down at its edge by a tubular member 13 to release the cone end 3 from a spindle socket 2. The tubular member 13 is retained on the bolt 9 by a spring ring 12 which allows relative axial movement. The disc spring improves the grip of the cone end 3 in the socket 2 to prevent a tool being pulled out. |
