PURPOSE:To choose the torque distribution ratio at the time of proceeding and receding of a vehicle by forming a plurality of gear groups out of gear groups in which exterior pinion gear is preceded to the same rotational direction, and of gear groups in which internal pinion gear is preceded. CONSTITUTION:An internal gear 43 of a differential mechanism arranged on the inside of a differential case 25 is provided on the differential case 25, and a sun gear 45 is provided on a hub 35. Four groups of pinion gears 47, 49, 51, 53 are arranged between the internal gear 43 and the sun gear 45. Each gear group 47, 49, 51, 53 is formed out of each exterior pinion gear 55, 57, 59, 61 and each internal pinion gear 63, 65, 67, 69 which is engaged therewith, and each exterior pinion gear 55, 57, 59, 61 is engaged with the internal gear 43, while each internal pinion gear 63, 65, 67, 69 is engaged with the sun gear 45. Differential braking force can thus be made identical or different from each other in one rotational direction and in the other rotational direction.
