PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which is excellent in moldability and can give a molding excellent in bending strength, slidability, etc., in good productivity by mixing a specified silicone masterbatch prepared by adding a silicone oil to a rubber-modified styrene resin with a styrene polymer in a specified ratio and melt-kneading the obtained mixture. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. rubber-modified styrene resin of a rubber content of 10-45wt.% and a mean particle diameter of 1-200mum is mixed with 2-100 pts.wt. silicone oil (e.g. dimethylsilicone oil) having a viscosity of 20000-1000000cSt at 25 deg.C to produce a silicone masterbatch of a mean particle diameter of 1-2000mum. 2-100 pts.wt. this silicone masterbatch is added to 100 pts.wt. styrene polymer, and the resulting mixture is melt-kneaded to obtain a silicone oil-containing styrene resin composition. This resin composition can be desirably used for a sliding part in e.g. the field of household electric appliances. |
