PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which, when formed by air-cooling inflation, can give a film having low stress in both the machine and transverse directions and good stretchability and heat shrinkage resistance by adding a styrene/butadiene rubber to a resin, comprising an ethylene/propylene/diene copolymer and an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition for film is prepared by adding 5-45 pts.wt. styrene/butadiene rubber (desirably styrene/ethylene/butylene/styrene block copolymer) to 95-55 pts.wt. resin comprising 30-70wt.% ethylene/propylene/diene copolymer [desirably one comprising 62-66mol% ethylene and 33-37mol% propylene and having an iodine value of 3-12, a weight-average molecular weight of 400000-600000, a density of 0.87g/cm<3> or below and a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, at 100 deg.C) of 20-100] and 70-30wt.% ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer (desirably one having a vinyl acetate content of 5-30wt.% and an MI of 0.2-25g/10min). |
