PURPOSE:To perform a preference cooling of a freezing chamber and prevent a bad state of melting of a food from being generated by a method wherein when a state in which a temperature of a freezing chamber is more than a predetermined temperature is continued for a specified period of time, either a degree of opening of an electrically-driven damper or the number of revolution of a refrigeration blower is controlled to be decreased. CONSTITUTION:A freezer/refrigerator 1 has a thermal insulating partition plate 3 in it. A freezing chamber 4 is formed at an upper part of it and a refrigeration chamber 5 is formed at a lower part of it. Thermal insulating doors 6, 6 capable of freely opening or closing front openings of both chambers 4, 5 are pivotally arranged at a main body. A load in the refrigeration chamber 5 is increased, a cold air of which temperature is increased through a heat exchanging at the refrigeration chamber 5 returns to the freezing chamber 4, a temperature of the freezing chamber 4 is increased and if a condition where its temperature is increased more than a predetermined temperature is continued for a specified period of time, a controlling means is operated to decrease a degree of releasing of the electrically-driven damper 18 from its full opened state and it is controlled in such a way as the number of revolution of the refrigeration blower 9 is decreased. With such an arrangement, an amount of cold air to be fed to the refrigeration chamber 5 is decreased and a temperature of the freezing chamber 4 is prevented from being increased. |
