PURPOSE:To easily form a beautiful and clear colored image by a method wherein first, second and third ink layer units are repeatedly arranged within card size areas on a carrier in the planar direction of the carrier. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a heat-sensitive transfer sheet, a two-colored image composed of a small area ink layer 1 and a large area ink layer 2 is formed within a card-size area by a first ink layer unit 3. Then, a second ink unit layer 5 is accurately laid over the face of the two-colored image, and an image is further laid over the small image formed by a small area ink layer 1 in the two-color image. A third ink unit layer 7 is accurately laid over the face of the image which is formed by the first ink layer unit 3 and the second ink unit layer 5 which are accurately laid over, and an image is laid over the formed image by a third small area ink layer 6 to form an image. As a result, a monochromatic image of the large area and a colored image of the small area are formed in the card size area. |
