The head driving circuit detects the short state of a sink driving circuit and breaks input power. The circuit comprises a source driving unit (10) for supplying a first power (V1), a source driving unit controller (20) for controlling the source driving unit by detecting the current flowing into the source driving unit (10), a sink driving unit (30) driven by the first power (V1) or a second power (V2) of which level is lower than the first power (V1), a print head wire (W10) driven by the source driving unit (50) and the sink driving unit (20), and an over current preventor (40) for breaking the second power (V2) when over current is flowing into the sink driving unit (30).
