The hydrostatic gear has a pump (18) and motor (19) in a gear-housing (22). A group (23) of axially parallel, circular pump (18), pistons (3) is concentric with a group (24) of axially parallel, circular motor (19), pistons (6). A tapered pump (18)-washer (5) and a tapered motor (19)-washer (7) are on one end of a cylindrical drum (25) containing a group (23) of pistons (3); a pump (18)-plate cam (10); and a motor (19)-plate cam (26) on the cylindrical drum's (25) other end. The pump's (18) plate cam (10) is immovably fixed to the gear housing (22). Another cylindrical drum (27) takes the other group (24) of pistons (6). Both cylindrical drums (25,27) turn in relation to each other and have a concentric annular intermediate wall (28) between them.
