The end-driven carrying- or delivering roll (10) has a shaft (12), a tube (14) running concentrically to the shaft (12) is new. Two inwardly projecting, opposed bearing parts are positioned in the space between the shaft (12) and the tube at the ends. The bearing parts are removable from the pipe and are mutually interchangeable. The inner surface (14c) of the tube (14) and the fist bearing part (18) is (in)directly frictionally- or pref. form-connected in the mounting position on the first tube end (14a). The other tube end (14b) is freely rotatable with and/or against the tube. The second bearing part is configured so that it is freely rotatable with the tube in the mounting positions at both tube ends. - Tube-shaped bushings (22, 24) at both tube ends, extend into the tube and receive the bearing parts (18, 20). The bushings are fitted to be torsionally resistant against the corresp. inner surface of the tube (14). The corresponding sections of the fist and second bearing part, the tube, bearing parts or the bushings (22, 24) are made of plastic. The roller is pref. made of a polyamide ABS, or metal.
