PURPOSE:To prevent the fogging and the occurrence of black spots due to filming to a photosensitive body by specifying the ratio of a silicon atom concentration on non-magnetic toner particle surfaces and an X-ray intensity of the silicon of the total non-magnetic toner particles in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:An alpha/beta value of the ratio of the silicon atom concentration alphaon the non-magnetic toner particle surfaces incorporated with silicon containing inorganic particles in the vicinity of the surfaces of the colored resin particles by a dry mixing and the X ray intensity beta of the silicon in the total non-magnetic toner particles is specified to 0.5-3.9. The alpha/beta value indicates how deep the inorganic fine particles incorporating silicon are present. Namely, since the surface presence of silicon is specified in a specific range, the inorganic fine particles are present in a proper depth from the surface and the releasing of the inorganic fine particles from the toner is hardly caused and the filming is prevented. In order to control the alpha/beta value, e.g. a soft material is present on the surfaces of the colored resin particles and the occupancy ratio is controlled. |
