<p>PURPOSE:Aqueous ink suitable for fountain pens, signature pens, drawing, etc., having improved dissolution stability and water resistance, comprising a formalin condensate of acid dy shown by a specific formula as a colorant. CONSTITUTION:(A) Preferably 1-20wt% formalin condensate of an acid dye (preferably, C.I. Acid Yellow 98, C.I. Acid Orange 41, etc.) shown by the formula (A is an acid dye containing one sulfone group in its molecule; n is 0-5) as a colorant is blended with (B) preferably 10-60wt% aqueous ink solvent (e.g., diethylene glycol, etc.), and (C) preferably 40-80wt% water as a main solvent, to give the desired aqueous ink. A rust preventive, e.g., benzotriazole, etc. and an antiseptic, e.g., potassium sorbate, etc. may be added to the ink, if necessary.</p> |
