<p>The sun-awning operating mechanism turns a roller on to which the cloth winds, having a transmission mechanism coupled to the roller and turned by an operating rod, on whose end towards it an oblong coil spring is fixed. A coupling pin on the other end of the spring fits in a socket in the transmission mechanism. The free end of the pin (19) tapers, and it contains, clear of this end a peripheral groove. One or more lengthwise grooves (22,23) in the pin are deeper than this groove and intersect it. The socket (8) has a spring locking pin (25,26) snapping into engagement with the grooves. The depth of each of these decreases towards the free end of the coupling pin, leading to its outside surface.</p> |
