A connecting arrangement for panels (16) comprising a plurality of hinge elements (20) for connecting individually to the ends of panels (16) or the like, the hinge elements (20) being connectable together so as to form a hinge, thereby hinging together the panels (16) to which they are attached. Each element (20) may be in the form of a cylinder having a cylindrical projection (40) at one end and a complementary aperture at the other end, such that the projection (40) of one element will fit into the aperture of an adjacent element thereby connecting the elements in a pivotal fashion. Means for attaching each element to the end of a panel may take the form of an undercut groove (24) into which locates the head of a screw or bolt (54), screwed into the edge of the panel (16). <IMAGE> |
