Deposit box which has a lower compartment 1 for collecting payments with very strong walls and with a wide rear part 2 for removal of said payments, with a combined-opening lock system 3, whilst access to said payments is established via an upper window where there is a drum 23 to which access is gained from a front door 24 with its corresponding lock. More specifically, this drum 23 is located in a receptacle formed in the upper zone of the box where there are, in addition, a further three receptacles, one constituting a letterbox, another in which there is a microprocessor 12 with its power source and other auxiliary circuits, and another in which there are the peripherals for said computer, which include a keyboard, a printer, a display and a magnetic- card reader, such that the lock system, both for putting in and for removing payments, is controlled by a microprocessor after identification of the operators via the relevant personal cards. <IMAGE>
