The inventions relates to an improved automotive pedestal for support pillars of large structures, in which each wheel is mounted independently on the lower part of the pedestal, and there is a corresponding helical spring which via its upper end rests against the lower surface of the pedestal and via its lower end against the projection of the end of a vertical support which is valid for the two opposite wheels on the same side of the pedestal, which vertical support is in turn connected, in a rocking manner, to the journal bearing of the shaft for connection to the pedestal, and at the ends thereof are connected to corresponding wheels which always rest independently on the ground with projections or recesses, this vertical support existing on each side of the two parallel sides of the pedestal. <IMAGE>
