PURPOSE:To easily and quickly update programs and data and change functions by performing program loading among communication controllers through a network after a program is loaded on an arbitrary communication controller from a management device. CONSTITUTION:Program loading is performed by connecting an arbitrary one a communication controller 2 of communication controllers connected to a ring-like network 1 to a management device 12 and a program is loaded on the communication controllers on the network 1 through the network 1. Therefore, the program can be loaded on the communication controllers much faster than the individual loading and, when a certain communication controller is again returned to the network after the communication controller is restored from a defective state or a new communication controller is added to the network 1, programs can be loaded automatically to such communication controller.
