The present invention comprises a tool tray with upper and lower surfaces, lateral walls extending upwards from the lower surface to the upper surface. A handle arranged in an intermediate position extends upwards between the lateral walls of the tray and has a horizontal gripping part and end support parts. Provision has also been made for a profile passage which extends via the lower surface of the tray in communication with the opening for the hand, with the result that after stacking positioning of the lower surface of one of the trays on the upper surface of a second tray configured in a substantially similar manner, the gripping part of the handle of the second tray projects through the profiled passage of the first tray in order to be located in the immediately underlying vicinity of the gripping part of the handle of the first tray. Positioned in this manner, the gripping parts of the handles are housed one in the other and they can be raised simultaneously using just one hand from the confines of a tool box. <IMAGE>
