<p>A waveform detecting circuit includes a first differential comparator (12) for comparing an input signal formed of noise components and non-correlative luminance components with a first reference potential V1 to determine the relation as to large or small therebetween, a first electronic switch (14) for selectively supplying the input signal or the first reference potential in response to the output of the first differential comparator, a second differential comparator (13) for comparing the above-stated input signal with a second reference potential to determine the relation as to large or small therebetween, a second electronic switch (15) for selectively supplying the input signal or the second reference potential in response to the output of the second differential comparator, and an adder (16) for adding up the outputs of the first and second electronic switches. A non-correlative luminance components of a desired waveform can be provided by adjusting the first and second reference potentials. <IMAGE></p> |
