The improvements refer to locating in front of the collet of the lathe holding the length of tube, a dolly plate whilst the rotating tool to form the pertinent flange at the appropriate point of the tube, is located in another holding part, with its own means for generating the rotation of the tool aligned with the intermediate part, leaving between the dolly plate and the collet holding the tube proceeding from the continual feeder, sufficient space such that the tube transverse cutting saw may pass between the two of them, which saw replaces the conventional cutter of this type of machine. <IMAGE>
