A disc brake with a spring activation and electromagnetic release system equipped with a mechanism for self-adjusting of a working air-gap caused by wear of a friction lining, a magnetic a coil spool, an armature and a friction lining. The brake is distinctive in that its casing (1) is equipped with a guiding ring (2) inside which the spool (3) is slidably mounted and coupled with the armature (4) and a lid (7); the casing (1) is plugged in the front by a screw plug (5) which stretches a disc spring (6); the mechanism for self-adjusting of a working air-gap (8) is composed of a set of symmetrically arranged pins (8) equipped with cone-shaped caps and put under tension by screws (9) of disc spring packs (10); mounted into the casing (1) is a set-up disc (11) comprising the friction disc (12) and a toothed wheel (13) coupled with it, pilot sleeves (14), a plug sealing (15) and a pass-through bushing (16).<IMAGE>
