PURPOSE:To provide the subject new ink containing a formic acid salt as an electrolyte, useful for new image formation methods, for the pattern adhesion of adhesives, etc., and enabling the efficient recording of excellent images in a simple process without generating a toxic halogen gas or depositing the halogen. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink contains a formic acid salt such as potassium formate, preferably in an amount of 0.05 pts.wt. to the saturated dissolution amount per 100 pts.wt. of a liquid dispersing agent (e.g. ethylene glycol) as an electrolyte causing ionic conduction in a method in which when an electric voltage is applied from a pair of electrodes, the ink is changed in adhesiveness and adheres to one of the electrodes to express an image.
|
