The invention concerns a method of production of corundum endoprostheses by means of isostatic pressing, from alpha aluminum oxide and magnesium oxide in amount 0.25-0.49 weight parts, burnt in two stages and subject mechanical processing, characterised in that they are formed from granulate obtained by mixing in distillated water 99.8 % Al2O3 and average-sized grains below 1.5 μm with analytical pure magnesium oxide in amount 0.25-0.49 weight parts, drying of slurry isostatic briquetting and reducing of briquettes and sieving, after which are isostatically formed semi-products and burnt twice in temperature 1,100-1,300 degrees C and 1,600-1,700 degrees C and are subject to mechanical processing after preliminary and final burning.
