PURPOSE:To simultaneously carry out the ultrasonic diagnosis and therapy by providing an ultrasonic vibrator element installed in the vicinity of the top edge of a flexible wire and a thrombus removing means which is inserted into the wire of the flexible wire and is equipped with a thrombus removing tool at the top edge. CONSTITUTION:When the top edge of a catheter 12 approaches the position of thrombus 30, an operator starts a motor 20, and a flexible wire 16 and an ultrasonic vibrator element 18 integrally turn, and ultrasonic wave is received and transmitted in the 360 deg. direction. The obtained tomogram is displayed on a CRT arranged on the body of an ultrasonic diagnostic and therapeutic device 10, and an operator confirms the position of thrombus by observing the tomogram. Then, a guide wire is pulled out, and a middle wire 24 is inserted inside the flexible wire 16. When the middle wire 24 is pulled out from the flexible wire 16, a thrombus removing tool 26 is opened to a prescribed dimension. Further, the middle wire 24 is turned, and the thrombus 30 is scraped by a thrombus removing tool 26, and the drug liquid (thrombus removing agent) is poured inside the middle wire 24 from a drug liquid pouring means 22, and the thrombus 30 is dissolved. |
