PURPOSE:To simply compose a rotor rotation detecting circuit at the time of starting by providing a reverse start detection signal selecting circuit for selecting a comparator adapted for a start pattern generator at the time of starting and selecting any one of the comparators at the time of a steady rotation. CONSTITUTION:An output of a start reverse start switching signal output circuit 2 becomes a signal level indicating a starting state. In this case, a latch circuit for constituting a reverse start detection signal selecting circuit 4 becomes a through state in which its input signal is output as an output signal as it is, and becomes a state for selecting a starting circuit in a starting circuit/ reverse start detector switching circuit 5. In this state, an exciting pattern to be output through I0, I1, I2 terminals from a starting pattern generator 3 is connected into an exciting phase switching circuit 6, and converted into a control signal of transistors of Q1 to Q6 for constituting a three-phase bridge driver 8. A 3-phase motor 9 is driven by a 3-phase bridge driver 8 to start a rotating operation. |
