<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the designation of the position of a three dimensional space on a display screen by designating a position on one coordinate axis in the three dimensional space and designating a position on a plan which passes the above designated position and which is parallel with the other coordinate axis. CONSTITUTION:The method consists of a mouth 1 with three buttons inputting coordinates, a coordinate system fixing means 2 fixing a corresponding coordinate system when any one of the three buttons is pressed, a cursor position instructing means 3 instructing the movement of the cursor to the detected position, a moving distance detection means 4 detecting the moving distance of the mouth on the plane, a cursor size changing means 5 changing the size of the cursor corresponding to the position on Z axis, a cursor position instructing means 6 instructing the movement of the cursor to the detected position and a display screen 7. A position on one coordinate axis in a three dimensional space is first designated and a position on the plane which passes the above designated position and which is parallel with the other coordinate axis is then designated. Thus, the designation of the position in the three dimensional space can be facilitated on the display screen.</p> |
