An electronic travel governor for a mining combine, comprising current detectors that are included in the power circuits of getting-piece drive motors and are connected with a motor-stall protection circuit and with the mining-combine travel-governor circuit, wherein the motor-stall protection circuit is connected with current detectors (1CP, 2CP) through threshold circuits (1UP, 2UP) and has a control relay (P2) with a contactor in the combine break-switch circuit, while in the mining-combine travel-governor circuit, in the control relay power supply circuit (P1) having one contactor that controls the electric valve which slows down the combine travel and another contactor that controls the electric valve which speeds up the combine travel, there is an amplifier (W), which compares the actual values of load currents of the drive motors (1M, 2M) with their set values, and a time circuit (T) for measuring longer times at momentary minor overloads and shorter times at major overloads of the drive motors (1M, 2M), both control relays (P2, P1) of the motor-stall protection circuit and of the mining-combine travel-governor circuit being locked up by means of the lock system (UB) for the time of the combine start up.<IMAGE>
