PURPOSE:To obtain the subject cake free from greasy and heavy taste of chocolate, free from heartburn due to a sweet potato, excellent in nutritive balance and having a high-grade appearance by coating an aged sweet potato with chocolate. CONSTITUTION:A sweet potato is aged by the conventional method such as steaming or baking and then heat treated preferably by using far infrared rays. The skin is removed before or after the above-mentioned aging and the resultant aged sweet potato is subsequently cut or kneaded. After forming, the formed sweet potato is coated with chocolate. |
