PURPOSE:To easily produce a toner having desired dielectric constant at low cost by forming the inner core particle from a binder component and colorant, dispersing the core in a solvent to deposit resin particles and inorg. fine particles thereon, and dissolving the resin to form a resin coating layer. CONSTITUTION:The toner inner core consists of at least a binder component and colorant, and is produced by kneading the source material and pulverizing. To this toner core, resin particles and inorg. fine particles are added on the surface of the core to obtain the toner covered with resin particles and inorg. fine particles. Then the toner is subjected to coating treatment with a solvent to obtain the toner for electrophotography. The core particles contains a binder resin and at least one toner component. The dispersion liquid of the core particles, resin particles and inorg. fine particles is mixed for deposition treatment to obtain the resin particle-deposited toner. In this process, the core particles may be used in a powdery state or dispersed state in a solvent. The resin particle-deposited toner is treated with a solvent to dissolve and fix the resin particles on the core, and thus, the resin coated toner is obtd. |
