<p>PURPOSE:To shorten time for detecting a fault after this fault is generated and time for searching the cause of the fault by receiving a signal while judging it as normal signal reception only when detecting this signal simultaneously outputted to an address bus and a bus for signal at a reception side device. CONSTITUTION:A transmission side device 1 is equipped with a bus 3 for data to exchange data with a reception side device 2 and a bus 4 for signal to output a connection detection signal for detecting connection. When data are transferred through the bus 3 for data, the transmission side device 1 outputs the connection detection signal for detecting connection to the bus 4 for signal as well and only when the signal simultaneously outputted to an address bus 5 and the bus 4 for signal, the reception side device 2 judges it as normal signal reception and receives this signal. When the normal signal reception can not be judged even in the case of detecting the signal, fault information is transmitted to the transmission side device 1. Thus, time for detecting the fault after this fault is generated and time for searching the cause of the fault can be shortened.</p> |
