PURPOSE:To enable use of an operating body without making a mistake in the change- gear direction by providing a releasing body for releasing position holding by a position holding mechanism when the operating body interlockingly connected to a winder of a change-gear wire is operated in the wire rewinding direction exceeding an original position. CONSTITUTION:A winder 5 for winding a wire for change gear in a change-gear operating device for bicycle in the caption is interlockingly connected to an operating body 8 through a one-way mechanism W1 so that it is rotated in the wire rewinding direction of the winding body 5. And a position holding mechanism P for holding a position of the winding body 5 in steps according to the winding length of the wire and a position holding releasing means R for rotating the winding body 5 in the rewinding direction through releasing of position holding by the position holding mechanism P are provided. Here, the operating body 8 is constituted so that it can be operated in the rewinding direction of the wire exceeding an original position, and a releasing body 7 for releasing the above position holding when the operating body 8 is operated in the wire rewinding direction exceeding the original position is provided at the position holding releasing means R in the state where it is energized in the winding direction of the wire by an energizing means 15. |
