PURPOSE:To count the number of passenger automatically, easily and accurately by detecting opening/closing of each door through a detecting means disposed at the entrance and exit of each vehicle composing a train, counting the number of passenger passed through each door when it is open, and then obtaining the sum of the number of passenger for every open door interval. CONSTITUTION:Doors 31 are installed at each entrance and exit of a train 3 stopping on rails 2 along a platform 1 and then a door 31 close to the platform 1 is opened. First and second passenger sensors 91, 92 and a door open/close sensor 8 are disposed on the inside of each entrance and exit and data measured at each slave station 5 is transmitted on a transmission line 10 to a master station 4 every time when the door 31 is opened or closed. The first and second passenger sensors 91, 92 comprises photocouplers and decides getting on and off of passenger according to the operation sequence of reflective elements 91a, 92a. A master station 10 takes in output from a travel generator 6 through a travel detecting section 61 in order to judge a stop station, sections between an outward path and a return path at a point 7, holding the data for each stop station and sums the data. According to the constitution, number of passenger at each station in different time band can be determined accurately and easily. |
