PURPOSE:To enhance antiskid effect without utilizing metallic pins by forming straight longitudinal grooves in which, excepting the front and rear surfaces of pattern pieces whose shape and material are arbitrary, the side surfaces thereof are formed into smooth straight surfaces so as to be parallel to each other, and also the arrangement of the respective grooves forms a plurality of parallel lines. CONSTITUTION:Excepting the front 8 and rear 9 surfaces of pattern pieces 1 whose shape and material are arbitrary, the side surfaces 2 thereof are formed into smooth straight surfaces as to be parallel to each other, and also the arrangement of the respective grooves forms straight longitudinal grooves 10. And the pattern pieces of the antiskid tire for an automobile are constituted making the smooth straight surfaces of the side surfaces thereof, so that the shape of pattern pieces and the configuration of arrangement are made to be a bisymmetrical form or approximate thereto. Thereby the enhancement in the effect in a frozen road as an antiskid tire for an automobile can be achieved. In other words, without utilizing metallic pins to the ground-contacting pattern pieces, by the above constitution based on a peculiar theory in which the characteristic of rubber whose composition is a high polymer is made good use of, remarkable antiskid effect can be obtained. |
