PURPOSE:To easily grasp the total image of the fat layer of a person to be inspected by displaying the input information and the measurement result in correspondence with each measurement part. CONSTITUTION:The age, sex, and the measurement position of a person to be inspected are inputted from a keyboard 8, and sent into a control part 7. The standard data corresponding to the condition of the inspected person are called into the control part 7 from the standard subcutaneous fat thickness data 9, and are displayed as a standard marker 17 in the tomograph data display column 13 of a standard drawing 5a. At this time, the part from a caliper mark 15 to the standard marker 17 is a standard fat value. The echo signal which is received by attaching a contactor 1 on the measurement position of an inspected person is sent into an image field memory 4 and memorized as the image data. Then, observing the display screen 5a in the state where the image is frozen, the caliper marks 15 and 16 are adjusted to the thickness of a fat layer, by operating a caliper mark shifting key on the keyboard 8. Then, the measurement value of the fat thickness is displayed on a fat thickness measurement value display column 14. |
