As shown the regulating valve controls the downstream seat 32. The shut-off valve comprises a diaphragm 53 responsive to pressure in a control chamber 52 which is selectively placed in communication with a vacuum source 15 or atmosphere through a control valve 16, the latter being operated thermostatically e.g. by a bimetallic strip, in response to the temperature of the burner.</p> |
