<p>PURPOSE:To ensure rapidly responsive and highly reliable process control by switching operation from an adsorption process to a desorption process based on the difference between the temperature of gas at the inlet part of an adsorption tower during the adsorption process and the temperature of gas at the exterior part of an adsorption bed near an adsorbent at an outlet part. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of gas sent into an adsorption tower 1-1 is detected by a temperature sensor 13, then the detected temperature is compared to the setting value of a controller 21 to control the operation of a valve 20 on a preheater 3, and the gas is maintained at about 36 deg.C. The temperature of a processed gas coming out to the outlet side of the adsorption tower 1-1 passing through the layer of an adsorbent 2 is detected by a temperature sensor 4-1, and this detected temperature is compared to the temperature of gas at the inlet side which is detected by the temperature sensor 13 using a controller 21. If the temperature difference reaches about 3 deg.C, solenoid valves 15-1, 16-1 are closed and solenoid valves 15-2, 16-2 on an adsorption tower 1-2 are opened to take over the adsorption tower 1-2. At the same time, solenoid valves 17-1, 18-1 on the adsorption tower 1-1 are opened to change over to an adsorption process. Thus, an accurate process control is made possible by selecting between processes based on the gas temperature difference between the outlet side and the inlet side.</p> |
