PURPOSE:To increase the quantity and speed of flying of an ink droplet under the state sufficient for forming a picture having high quality by generating inhibition bubbles by an energy working section for controlling pressure disposed around an energy working section and operation the device under the state in which the dispersion of pressure in the direction approximately parallel with an ink level is inhibited. CONSTITUTION:When electricity is conducted individually through the heating element layer 12 of each heater section 7 in response to picture information, bubbles are generate din an ink liquid on the heat-generated heating element layers 12. Ink 17 is flown in the direction approximately vertical to the surfaces of the heater sections 7 by the driving force of the bubbles. When electricity is conducted through the heating element layers 12 at heater sections 8 for prevention positioned around the heater sections 7 conducting electricity at that time, bubbles are also generated on the heating element layers 12, and the bubbles obstruct the dispersion of pressure in the direction approximately parallel with an ink level to the heater sections 7.
