PURPOSE:To inexpensively constitute a thin keyboard unit and to avoid the complication on production management by providing a portable storage medium, a read means which reads the management mode, and a control means which switches the operation mode of a device in accordance with the management mode. CONSTITUTION:Information indicating the management mode is preliminarily stored in a portable storage medium 1 and is read by a read means 2, and a control means 3 controls each part of the device in accordance with this information to control the operation range. Thus, a rotary cylinder key is unnecessary, and the keyboard unit is made small-sized and light-weight, and the read means 2 which reads the portable storage medium 1 is inexpensively constituted, and it is unnecessary to variously change the form of a key, and production of many kinds of key is not required to simplify the production management. |
