PURPOSE:To prevent degrading of pits by turning a disc while a cavity between substrates is filled with a liquid protection material. CONSTITUTION:To protect record information on a recording film 6, after the end of recording information, a gas-like, a stray-like, liquid-like protection material is injected into a space 5 through one air hole 7a. The protection material employs a liquid-like or gas-like material unable to react with the recording film 6. After the filling with the protection material, a disc 1 is turned with a drive device so that a chemical material is developed to adhere to the inside of the cavity 5 especially to the surface of the recording film 6. Under such a condition, the work is allowed to stand for some period of time and a solvent evaporates quickly through an airing hole 7b for exhaust to coat the recording film 6 entirely with a protective film 11. Thus, the recording film is kept from contact air, especially oxygen in the cavity directly thereby eliminating a trouble, such as hourly change in the shape of pits. |
