PURPOSE:To restrain occurrence of burn mark, discoloration and dust in an injection molding process by using a specific alloy for a cylinder and a screw of an injection molding machine for forming halogenated polycarbonate resin. CONSTITUTION:For a cylinder, alloys composed of C: 0.5-1.5, Si: 1.0-2.0, B: 0.5-2.5, Ni: 10.0-20.0, Cr: 20.0-30.0, W: 10.0-20.0, Cu: 0.5-2.0wt.% (the same shall apply hereinafter) remainder: Co; or Si: 0.2-4.0, Mn: 0.1-2.0, Cr: 5.0-15.0, B: 2.0-4.0, Fe: 1.0 or less, Ni: 2.0 or less, remainder: Co; or Si:2.0-10.0, Mn: 0.2-2.0, Cr: 5.0-10.0, Co: 5.0-40.0, B: 2.0-4.0, Fe: 10.0 or less, remainder: Ni are used; however, it is preferable to form a layer of the above-mentioned alloys over the inner periphery of high strength steel. For a screw, a steel member plated with hard chromium or hard nickel, SUS420, SUS440, Hastelloy or steel composed of C: 0.5-1.5, Cr: 10.0-20.0, Mo: 1.5-2.5, V: 0.5-1.5, remainder: Fe, are used. |
