PURPOSE:To handle unregistered commodities as single articles to perform the sales processing in a short period by providing a function which temporarily registers unregistered commodities in a commodity master file on the way of registration of a sales register. CONSTITUTION:File means such as a commodity master file and a sales history file are provided, and the function is provided which temporarily registers unregistered commodities in the commodity master file on the way of registration of the sales register. That is, when a commodity is not registered at the time of commodity input of the work on the sales register and temporary registration is selected, '1' is set to a temporary registration flag column of the commodity master file; and when a large group classification code, large group classification name, and the sale price are inputted, input data are successively displayed, and a key on a console is depressed if display contents are not erroneous, and hereafter, the commodity is temporarily registered and the normal work on the sales register is permitted, and the result is outputted to the sales history file. Thus, sales registration is possible, and commodities are managed as single articles, and the operation time is shortened. |
