<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate adhesion force between a sheet to be picked up and another sheet by providing a sheet travel means which moves sheet to be picked up in the direction which is almost orthogonal to the feed direction before sheet is picked up by a pick-up roller. CONSTITUTION:A sheet P is loaded on a tray 4. The sheet P is picked up from the tray 4 by a pick-up roller 12 and fed to separation and feed rollers 6, 7. The sheet P which is fed by the separation and feed rollers 6, 7 is separated one by one and fed. At this time, the sheet P is moved in the direction which is almost orthogonal to the feed direction by a sheet travel means 19 before the sheet P is picked up.</p> |
